A child’s imagination can take them anywhere, let them do anything, encourage them to do everything. The story of Caine’s Arcade is inspirational: a nine year old boy who built a working arcade from cardboard boxes, recycled materials and, especially, his own imagination. See the video about Caine and his remarkable adventure – you will be amazed!
Launched from the overwhelming global response to the short film, “Caines’s Arcade,” the Imagination Foundation was founded with a mission to find, foster and fund creativity and entrepreneurship in children around the world, to raise a new generation of innovators and problem solvers who have the tools they need to build the world they imagine.
On Saturday, October 6 from 10am to 3pm, the 2nd annual Global Day of Play Cardboard Challenge 2013 is taking place throughout the world. Here in Columbus, OH children can join in the fun at The Columbus Museum of Art where children can create whatever their imaginations want! This is a free event with no registration required.
